Some of Ireland’s best talent have joined the Cois Fharraige line up for this year. The Blizzards and Laura Izibor are the latest additions to the festival taking place on the West coast of Ireland between 11, 12 and 13 September.

They join an already stellar line up of DOVES, THE ZUTONS, THE SAW DOCTORS, NEWTON FAULKNER, NOAH AND THE WHALE, THE HOLD STEADY, LIGHTNING SEEDS (Unplugged), STEREO MCs, JERRY FISH AND THE MUDBUG CLUB.

With double platinum album sales, opening shows for Oasis and AC DC and another stunning performance on the main stage at OXEGEN The Blizzards have had a sensational rise to the top.

For the band’s second album, Domino Effect, they took things to a different level again enlisting the talents of godlike producer Michael Beinhorn (Red Hot Chilli Pepper’s, Soundgarden) who produced their debut album A Public Display of Affection.

Laura Izibor continues to wow everywhere she goes. After reaching No.2 in the Irish Charts with her debut album Let the Truth be Told in May ’09, the album entered the top 30 in the US charts and No. 6 on the US RnB / Soul album chart. Her new single If Tonight Is My Last is out this September.
