Cois Fharriage nominated at Irish Music Festival Awards
With the Irish Music Festival Awards fast approaching, 2008's Cois Fharraige festival has been nominated for no less than 5 awards including Best Small Festival and Best Line Up.
The festival sold out for the second year running and featured a huge line up with The Zutons, Supergrass, Travis, Seasick Steve and The Futureheads all playing in Kilkee, Co. Clare last September.

Hi all,
Just a big thank you to everyone who bought tickets to this years Cois Fharraige. Your support helped make it another great festival for the second year running. The fantastic vibe was down to you, the fans and the warm welcome extended by the town of Kilkee. This was reflected by the bands themselves who all thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.
Travis listed their Sunday night performance at number 6 in their top 10 gigs of all time and both Seasick Steve and Supergrass expressed how much they enjoyed the their time spent in Clare.
We hope you all enjoyed the festival as much as we did, and hope to see you all at Cois Fharraige next year!
